You are correct, that is one of the __doc boats. I was hoping someone might be able to identify the tug. I may need to crop the photo to make it less confusing.
That G on the tug's stack would indicate it might be one of the old Great Lakes Towing Co. tugs. They were/are named after states. Judging by the angle of the rake of that stack on the Patterson boat, she's a real veteran- like the old Soodoc or Saskadoc. We used to climb aboard those oldies in the 60's when they were laid up for the winter in Goderich.

So many of the G Tugs look alike but it looks like the Reiss to me.
