Seneca

The Mystery Ship posted on October 14, 2007 defied identification. No one even ventured a guess! In January, I received a letter from Lars Hagen Jr. who stated that the tug was the Seneca from New Jersey’s Blue Line. How did Lars know? He was an oiler on the Seneca during the summers of 1956 and 1958! Not only that, his father served as the Blue Line’s Chief Engineer for many years. Thanks to Lars for identifying this Mystery Ship!
